Cardiac Support Group

Education and Support for people with Heart Disease and their Families.  Meets the second Thursday of each month 2:00-3:00 pm.  Facilitator:  Helen Naylor RN

Cancer Support Group

If you or someone you know has or had cancer this is the group for you. Get the emotional support you need. The group meets 2nd Wednesday monthly from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Enhanced Fitness

Fitness classes for seniors.  Two classes are offered.  Mon-Wed-Fri from 9:30-10:30 and 10:45-11:45.  Instructor:  Joan 

Senior Peer Support Group

Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. in the LSSA Foyer. As we age, life transitions can be difficult. Sometimes it helps to talk to someone near your own age; a peer-trained to be a skilled listener and who will offer support and new ideas.  Facilitator:  Anne Frieze M.S. GMHS from Senior Services of Snohomish County.

 

Foot Clinic

Foot care provided by registered nurses.  The third Wednesday of each month, 9-11:30 AM.  Reservation required.  Donation requested.

 

Men's Discussion Group

Join this weekly men's group for interesting conversation.  Meets every Wed. 10-11:30

 

 

Mobile Dental Clinic

Dental services for people with low-incomes.  Applications are available at the center.

Blood Pressure Checks

Free blood pressure checks every 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the activities office

Senior Wellness Library

Current books, literature and videos on health issues that affect seniors and their families.  Internet available.  Open M-F 9-5.

The Center Care Team

The Center Care Team responds free of charge to the non-medical "quality of life" needs of individuals not routinely provided by existing social service programs. The Center Care Team is staffed by volunteers to provide socialization and individualized support for the frail elderly living independently but needing some temporary assistance. If you would like to be a part of the Center Care Team you may contact Joan Arthur or Barbara Riffle at 360-629-7403 ext. 110.

Do you need a wheelchair, walker, bath bench or a cane? The Wellness Program has medical equipment available to loan out. Free incontinent supplies are also available. Contact Sandy Kitchens at 360-629-7403
