  WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4 - ARGOSY HIRAM CHITTENDEN LOCKS - Argosy's 2-1/2 hour Locks Tour—The cruise connects the salt water of Puget Sound and the fresh water of Lake Union via the Hiram Chittenden Locks. Enjoy live narration of Seattle's history, while viewing the historic waterfront. View the spectacular city skyline one of the world's largest shipping terminals, the majestic Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges and the "Sleepless in Seattle" houseboat community. The overland loop is connected via Gray Line of Seattle motor coach. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase on board.. We will leave the center at 10:00 a.m. and eat lunch near the Pier (eats not included in price). Members $50.00  Non-Members $56.00. We must have 10 people for this trip to go!   SATURDAY, AUGUST 14 - RIDE THE DUCKS - SEATTLE - The Ride the Ducks continuous tour is approximately one hour on land and half an hour in the water. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of your tour to get tickets and line up for boarding. All seating is general admission - two to a seat. The line for boarding begins half hour before your tour departs and guests will be boarded first come, first served. You'll see all the major sights of Seattle including the Space Needle, the Seattle waterfront, Safeco Field and Qwest Field, historic Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, the downtown shopping district and funky Fremont neighborhood. Then, SPLASH into Lake Union for a look at Gasworks Park, the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat and a breathtaking view of the skyline. Along the way, the Captains will play music, share jokes and tell you about the city! We will leave the center at 9:00 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. Price includes transportation to and from Seattle and tour. Eats on your own.  Members $40.00  Non-Members $45.00.   RINGLING BROS CIRCUS AT EVERETT COMCAST - AUGUST 29, 2010 - Ladies and Gentlemen...Children of all ages...The Greatest Show on Earth just got Greater with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents FUNundrum! Featuring 130 performers from six continents, including fifteen trampoline bouncers, ten flipping gymnasts on a teeterboard, six somersaulting trapeze artists, seven motorcycle riders in the Globe of Steel, plus almost 100,000 pounds of performing pachyderms and more clowns than can be seen with two eyes, Barnum's FUNundrum! is a super-sized spectacle so massive it took over 200 years to arrive! EVERGREEN STATE FAIR AUGUST 30, 2010 - Please join us for a fun day at the Evergreen State Fair for real country, real fun! Lots of activities and exhibits. Members $15.00 Non-Members $20.00. We will leave the center at 10:00 a.m. 

     

MONDAY, SEPT. 20-24 - HOLLAND AMERICA CRUISE LINES - Join us for a wonderful 4 day cruise with Holland America. If you have never taken a cruise before, this is the cruise for you! We will leave from the Stanwood Senior Center at 11:30 a.m. to the Seattle Pier. Our Itinerary is as follows:  Day one we leave the Seattle port at 5:00 p.m. and sail all night. We will be at sea for the whole day on day 2. Day three we will be in Victoria for the day and depart Victoria at 6:00 p.m. Day four we will be in Astoria, OR. for the day. We shall set sail at 5:00 p.m. and the next morning we will be in port early in the morning. We will leave for the Senior Center around 9:00 a.m. Inside cabins start at $449.00 per person (double occupancy) this includes all your meals and entertainment on board the ship and even transportation to and from the Pier!  $75.00 Deposit requested as early as possible. Total cruise price not due until 2 months before cruise date. We will leave the center at 11:30 a.m. and arrive at the Seattle pier around 12:30 for embarkation. We will sail from Seattle at 4:00 p.m. Ports of call are as follows: Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Prince Rupert and then to Vancouver BC. Price includes all your meals, entertainment and even transportation to Seattle pier and Vancouver BC pier. We have an on-the-farm market, Washington Wines (featuring fruit and berry wines), Deli cheeses, an Herb and Spice shop, dried nuts, olives, pickled veggies, and our own jams and jellies. Enjoy the tasty and nutritious difference of farm fresh fruits and vegetables, grown here and brought in daily from the fields of local and Northwest farms. Walk through an authentically furnished pioneer home. Listen to our own Pioneer Woman explain how the first settlers survived in the West. Johnny Appleseed-Hear Johnny Chapman (Johnny Appleseed) tell his story of how he helped the first settlers survive in the West. Learn how Squanto taught the Pilgrims to farm in America.   SATURDAY, OCT. 16 - SUN. OCT. 24, 2010 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - 9 DAYS FOR $679.00!! 

Day 1: Depart your group’s location in a spacious, video and restroom equipped motor coach as you head for your destination: exciting Las Vegas! This evening, you will settle into a comfortable en route hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 2: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for the World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, ID. Later in the day, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.

Day 3: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will continue towards fabulous Las Vegas. Today, you will check into a Casino Hotel for a four night stay.

Day 4: Enjoy a FREE DAY in Las Vegas! Experience the legendary Las Vegas Strip! Enjoy gaming in some of the world’s most exciting and glamorous casinos. Or simply take the day to explore the Strip, where dazzling spectacles surround you at every turn.

Day 5: Enjoy another FREE DAY in Las Vegas! The possibilities are limitless. The casino hotels are like nowhere else in the world. They are an attraction unto themselves! As you enter, perhaps you will find a re-creation of another place and time… or a performance happening around you. Head out onto the Las Vegas Strip, and there’s no telling what awaits!

Day 6: Another FREE DAY in Las Vegas! Will you take in one of Las Vegas’ world class shows? Perhaps see your favorite celebrity live in person? Or see a stunning visual spectacular in magnificent Las Vegas style? You can make tonight’s dinner an opportunity to discover why Las Vegas buffets are so world-famous! Day 7: Today, you will depart Las Vegas for the Iron Mission State Park Museum in Cedar City, UT. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.

Day 8: Today you will have a Continental Breakfast and then go to the Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument. Tonight, relax in your en route hotel.

Day 9: Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home… a time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done and where your next group trip will take you!
