INTERMEDIATE

WATERCOLOR

CLASS

Explore basic watercolor techniques.  Learn to mix colors, glaze, some collage with watercolor.

ACA-202  DRIFTWOOD SCULPTURE

Driftwood Sculpture is the process of bringing out the beauty that  is hidden under layers of dirt and decay.  Learn how to clean, scrape, shape and finish old “Found” wood according to the LuRon method.

Materials:  Bring wood to work on and what tools you have or wood and tools will be available from the Instructor @ $7.00 beginning kit.

ACA-203 CERAMICS

Learn to clean green ware; different types of paint techniques:  one stroke, under glaze, concepts, stains chalk, and oil paint sticks.  You can work on your own projects.  If you need help, I can help!

WOODCARVING

Learn the basics of wood carving, relief in the round and ship carving for new and advanced carvers.

ACA-205 SEWING

Sewing 101—A group of women and men who just like to sew and enjoy the fellowship of sewing together.  Each has their own unique skills and talents that are shared with the group.  Sometimes it’s a new project—sometimes it’s to work on one of our “unfinished projects” from home.  Bring your sewing machine and supplies.

KRIPALU STYLE

Is an ancient science and practice of body work you do yourself.  “Yoga” means union of mind, body and soul leading towards self realization.  Class consists of a three part flow.  Starting in

1)       meditation,

2)       classical postures and movement of the body including breath work

3)       concluding with an integration process known as “Yoda Nidra”.
