Who needs a massage? Everyone can benefit from a message. It can help release chronic muscle tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote better posture and faster healing of injured muscles and reduce blood pressure. Massage is also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, and reduce anxiety.
Who wants a massage? Just about everyone wants a message but there are times for everyone when it's not appropriate. Such as when you are coming down with or recovering from a cold or flu. Please be sure to fill out the health questions completely. There are some restrictions in place to protect your health and well-being and the practitioner needs to assess everyone individually.
Are there different kinds of massage? Yes, there are numerous types of massage and bodywork. Services provided at the center will include Swedish massage, familiar to most people and also known as a relaxation massage. This usually takes an hour and is done on a table with the client undressed and covered with a sheet and blanket. Seated massage will also be available. This is done fully clothed in a special chair.
Please have intake paperwork completed before your appointment. Forms are available in the office. All late arrival sessions will be shortened so that later appointments will not be delayed.
